It’s seven days to Christmas and we are still very excited about the holidays.
This week was a bit different from our normal. But before we get into all the week's details, we would like to know; what does Christmas mean to you?
For the highlights this week:
ANSIPPA commences review of existing asset portfolio
Following the directive of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo to assess prior Public-Private Partnership agreements, ANSIPPA engaged PriceWaterCoopers to conduct a portfolio review.
The exercise will assess the viability of existing joint venture partnerships and the effectiveness of current operations. It will also evaluate the progress of the Agency in achieving its set objectives, and its socio-economic impact and provide recommendations on better PPP practices.
The review is expected to be concluded in the first quarter of the new year.
Anambra State Attracts more Real Estate Interest
This week, ANSIPPA met with Rock of Ages Properties Plc and Afro Asia Shelters International Limited, a subsidiary of Chicason Group of Companies to discuss plans on developing affordable houses for Ndi Anambra. Afro Asia Shelters is a top player in the real estate sector, reputed for its commitment to providing smart houses with modern designs at affordable prices to Nigerians. Already, they have completed similar projects in Abuja and have ongoing projects across other States.
This initiative strongly aligns with the Soludo-led administration’s goal of providing resilient, modern and affordable residential infrastructure to address the housing deficit in Anambra.
ANSIPPA meets with Austin Farms (Ekene Dili Chukwu Group)
As part of the administration’s desire to promote made-in-Anambra businesses and local industries, ANSIPPA held a meeting with Austin Integrated Farms Ltd (“AIFL”). AIFL is an indigenous farm based in Anambra State and a subsidiary of the Ekene Dili Chukwu Group. The Farm was founded over 20 years ago and is an integrated operation with existing infrastructure to support poultry, fishery, meat production, palm oil production, etc.
AIFL is looking to partner with the State, to improve the Government’s efforts in the agriculture space.
Reacting, MD ANSIPPA described the various programs and financing opportunities under the Soludo-led administration. Follow up meetings will take place in the new year.

This is great news. I'm excited for the developments in the pipeline in the state. However we need to look into security also, as that would help these investments achieve their intended aims.
This is encouraging and I do like that there's a leaning towards local investors too. Work local but think global in terms of standards.
So much to be done.
